Internal Audit Associate (Client Service)

Job Summary
Conduct audit work with integrity and professional skepticism while identifying and evaluating processes, risks, and controls for financial institution clients. Execute audit testing and prepare workpapers that provide evidence supporting conclusions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and Global Internal Audit Standards. Draft findings and reports detailing conditions, criteria, causes, and recommendations, then support monitoring of management action plans. Assist in engagement planning by analyzing business objectives, systems, and risks, and apply topical requirements such as cybersecurity and third-party risk as assigned. Submit weekly time entries and work toward the 1600 annual billable hour goal within a typical office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent degree as determined by internal audit group leadership
- CIA or CPA License preferred, CIA or CPA-eligible, or has a progressive plan toward passing the CIA or CPA exam in place
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills
- Experience performing financial, operational or system audits
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking

- May require off-site travel
