Job Summary
Internal Admissions Director role at Avante Sk illed Nursing and Rehab Facility based in Boca Raton. You will be the frontline contact for patients and families seeking placement for Short Term Rehabilitation, Respite, or Long Term Care. You will interface with Care Navigators and Nurse Liaisons, communicate via electronic referral systems with Physicians, Hospital Case Managers, Hospice and Home Health organizations, and Health Plan Referral Departments. Your responsibilities include ensuring benefits are explained and acceptable to potential admissions, representing the facility with area hospitals and medical professionals, and collaborating with the marketing team as part of a team-based approach. The role supports benefits coordination, admissions processes, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for advancement and employer-paid benefits including daily pay. Education/Experience requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field and 3-5 years in Long Term Care or similar healthcare settings, plus knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and related regulations. Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word, and able to work flexible hours including weekends. Background screening via AHCA is required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor的 Degree or equivalent experience in related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in Long Term Care (SNF/ALF/Hospital or similar) and in a similar titled position
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances
- Knowledge of healthcare Federal and State regulatory standards
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to read and write in English
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word
- Must understand and be up to date with Federal and State regulations for SNFs
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
