Job Summary
Localization expert translating Celonis Academy training materials from English to German; review and post-edit machine translations; perform linguistic quality and functionality checks; maintain translation memories and glossaries; provide input and feedback for process improvements; collaborate with subject matter experts to adapt content for German-speaking markets; part-time availability from July 2026; native-level English and German, with Brazilian Portuguese as a plus; experience with translation tools and translation-management systems valued; hybrid work model balancing remote focus with office collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of part-time availability from July 2026 onwards
- Native-speaker level proficiency in English and German (Brazilian Portuguese is a plus)
- Study in the field of translation, linguistics, communication, or similar
- Ability to work in a structured manner and quickly comprehend new topics and interrelationships
- Ability to put the learner at the center of everything you do
- Experience with authoring tools is a plus (e.g. Articulate Rise, Thought Industries)
- Experience with Translation Management Systems is a plus (e.g. Transifex, Smartling, GlobalLink, SDLX)
