Job Summary
Warehouse Intern role provides operational and administrative support to the warehouse team while gaining hands-on exposure to logistics and supply chain operations. Responsibilities include assisting with receiving, shipping, inventory management, data entry, labeling, packaging, documentation review (bills of lading, packing lists), coordinating with warehouse staff and customers, and supporting safety practices. The internship offers practical experience in warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution environment, with opportunities to support process improvements and special projects. Education in a related field is preferred, and strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are emphasized. Base pay is $20.00 hourly (annualized to $41,600) with compensation determined by experience and location.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred)
- Interest in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
- Previous warehouse, retail, or operational experience is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and operational procedures
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn new systems and warehouse processes quickly
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
