Job Summary
Social Work intern shadowing and providing psychotherapy services including mental health assessments, individual and family psychotherapy, therapeutic behavioral support/case management, psychoeducation prevention services and consultation with school professionals, parents and students. Services are primarily provided in the school/community/home with the availability of telehealth as clinically indicated. The Centers operate 11 locations in Greater Cleveland and offer supervised field experiences, with opportunities for Great Minds Fellowship support and potential exposure to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, client documentation, and integration of behavioral health with overall health needs. In-person placement at the Cleveland, OH location participates in hourly internship duties and regular supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
- Active enrollment in a master’s degree program in social work
- Willingness to obtain and maintain SWT status while working with clients
- Effective verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members and align with organizational values
