Intern - Technical Writer

Intern - Technical Writer role focused on transforming complex technical information into clear, concise content for engineers and customers. You will help create and refine user manuals and service instructions, ensure content is clear and accurate, and support the release of updated content in a CMS. You’ll gain hands-on experience by working with experienced technical writers and engineers, learning the full documentation lifecycle, and contributing to global documentation standards. Ideal candidates are proficient in English, have strong writing and editing skills, are comfortable with Microsoft Office, and show interest in structured writing, XML, and CMS. This position is based in Ames, IA with a flexible schedule: full-time during summer and part-time during academic terms.
