Job Summary
Intern will support daily operations in a beverage-manufacturing facility within a specific department for 3 to 6 months, gaining hands-on experience across Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering. Responsibilities include assisting with production activities, process improvements, data collection, quality control, equipment troubleshooting, and documentation. The role emphasizes adherence to health and safety policies, GMPs, PPE usage, and food safety standards (SQF). The intern will shadow experienced professionals, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and develop skills in manufacturing best practices, data analysis, and reporting while working a typical Monday–Friday schedule in an on-site environment.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a college or university degree in Engineering, Business, HR, Supply Chain, Food Science, Finance, Safety, or a related field
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work all hours requested by supervisor and fulfill university hours for credit (if applicable)
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency or familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety policies, GMPs, and food safety standards
- Willingness to learn across Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering departments
