Job Summary

Intern, Supply Chain CAT-D at Seaspan Shipyards assisting Procurement Lead and subcontracts team with material requisitions, PO updates, supplier performance dashboards, cross-functional project meetings, RFQs, invoicing, and data analysis. Enrollment in an undergraduate program (2nd or 3rd year preferred) in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. Requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and willingness to learn enterprise systems such as IFS (MRP) and JD Edwards (ERP). On-site at 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver. Full-time internship (40 hours/week) with start Sept 8, 2026 and end date options of Dec 18, 2026 (4 months) or Apr 30, 2027 (8 months). Hourly rate $28.00. Required Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related undergraduate program (2nd or 3rd year preferred)
  • Strong interest in procurement, supply chain operations, project management, and data analytics within a large-scale shipbuilding environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools; willingness to learn enterprise systems such as IFS (MRP) and JD Edwards (ERP) is an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret data, reports, and supplier documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
