Job Summary
Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed-upon expectations by providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options while employing exemplary communication to efficiently meet customer needs and promote business development. Prioritize tasks using strong organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. This summer internship offers flexible scheduling and is open to both part-time and full-time candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently.
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships.
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
