Job Summary
Sporting Intern assisting Stadium Operations with two major properties (Charlotte FC MLS matches and Carolina Panthers NFL games) focusing on event preparation, gameday tasks, field and concourse readiness, access control and documentation. Duties include load in/out for gamedays, labor checklists, operations notes, space turnover between MLS/NFL/non-sporting events, collaboration with Security, Engineering, Grounds, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Broadcast Operations, and participation in planning meetings. Requires strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and a valid driver’s license. Bachelor’s degree and experience in stadium/arena event operations are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Event operation experience in a stadium or arena facility
- Familiarity with large-scale sports venues or live events
- Customer service experience a plus
- Must pass pre-employment screens
- Must have a valid driver’s license
