Job Summary
Intern to build & maintain next generation programs that involve AI/ML & Gen-AI technologies. You will work with other developers and leads throughout the software development life cycle. Involve in in-house Software Development including Web-based system and Software tools. Participate in the design, development, and validation of the Web-based system software (Front End, Backend system, Database) to support the company’s in-house software component deployment for the high-volume manufacturing environment. Work with the team in brainstorming for the best approach and strategy to improve the Web-based system and software tools. Help enhance, build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs based on User Requirement Specification (URS). This position is part of our Early Career program at WD with onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Informatics, Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- The Internship/Co-op period is at least 4-6 months
- Programming skills in one or more areas: Python, Kubernetes, microservices, ASP.NET (C#), SQL, RESTful API, React.js, Node.js, JavaScript (or equivalent technology), and database design
- Must have AI/ML, Gen-AI knowledge & project experience
- Quick learner with a positive mindset and excellent cooperation skills
- Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to details
- Strong motivation and enthusiasm for professional development
- Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal)
