Job Summary
Intern, Social Video assists in ideation, production, and editing of football-forward social video content for Panthers channels across platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts). Works with Sr. Producer and Producer to log footage, search archives, capture team moments, and adapt content for engagement, travel to road games as needed, and contribute to a fast-paced social video pipeline aiming for top engagement and NFL interaction rates. Requires collaboration with internal team and external media/voices, and proficiency in shooting/editing sports footage, with flexibility for non-traditional hours.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year experience shooting and editing sports
- Demonstrated ability to edit for social, with a reel to show for it
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, and a developed philosophy on how video can win on social
- Strong video shooting experience, with developed ability to utilize various camera set-ups depending on the project
- Strong video editing skills, with experience editing in Adobe environments
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally alongside players and major influencers
- Ability and desire to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays is a must. This role is expected to work every home and road game during the NFL season.
