Job Summary
Intern – Social Performance & Human Rights supporting ERM Italy CPD team in Milan. Develop environmental, social and human rights impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, community grievance mechanisms, and resettlement planning for capital development projects worldwide. Write concise, professional English reports; perform socioeconomic and health data analysis; assist in the development of stakeholder engagement plans, community development and outreach programs, and associated management plans; collaborate with international teams and clients to understand and manage human rights risks and impacts. Ideal candidate has a degree in a related social field, strong written/spoken English, good communication, curiosity, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset; proficiency in Office Suite; working knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset. Must spend at least 3 days per week at the ERM Italy office in Milan to facilitate integration. Internship fee: 700 euros + 19 ticket restaurant/month. ERM emphasizes inclusion and sustainable solutions across global projects.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in a discipline related to sociology, anthropology, social or international development, international human development, human rights law or similar in the social field.
