Job Summary
Check patients in, document detailed patient packets, set patients up on sleep devices, and monitor patients during day and night sleep studies. Communicate with the sleep team and medical team while rotating through 12-hour day and night shifts for this paid 18-month full-time internship. Train under Certified Polysomnographic Technicians to prepare for obtaining RPSGT licensure within 18 months of hire. This role supports Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital's Magnet status facility, which specializes in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Cancer Care.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent GED
- RPSGT certification within 18 months of hire
