Job Summary
Intern, Sales Operations responsible for supporting data-driven operational tasks and analytics-focused sales projects. Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards/reports and automated data pipelines; develop data models to improve reporting accuracy and enable deeper sales performance insights; use SQL to extract, clean, and structure data from internal systems; collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into scalable analytical solutions; present insights through clear, visually compelling reports and presentations; contribute to data governance and analytics workflows. Located in Göppingen, Germany with in-office responsibilities; compensation includes monthly stipends for student interns (dependent on hours) and potential for future full-time opportunities after graduation.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled student (all genders) in business analytics, data science, economics, business informatics, statistics, or a related field
- Mandatory internship required by your university, lasting 5-6 months
- Strong interest in data analytics, sales performance metrics, and process optimization
- Experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools), SQL for data extraction and transformation, data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, normalization)
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Open-minded, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment
