Job Summary
Intern - Retirement (Pension) Consulting based in Hong Kong on a 6-month internship. Supports pension consulting work including design and planning of benefit strategies, drafting client correspondence on consulting issues, preparing agendas, papers and minutes for trustees’ meetings, and performing basic calculations for individual members with guidance from senior team members. Requires an undergraduate in economics, finance/actuarial science, mathematics or similar numerate degree, strong Excel, and English/Chinese fluency; emphasizes relationship-building, communication, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail. Hybrid work arrangement with office presence in Hong Kong (at least three days per week) and collaboration with Marsh/Mercer colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate in Economics, Finance/Actuarial Science, Mathematics or numerate degrees
- Strong Excel skills, basic VBA a plus
- Fluency in English and Chinese
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong initiative and learning agility
