Job Summary
Intern - Retirement (Pension) Consulting within Mercer’s Wealth team in Hong Kong. Supports pension consulting work including design and planning of benefit strategies, drafting client correspondence, preparing agendas, papers and minutes for trustees’ meetings, and handling routine queries. Performs basic calculations for individual members and corporate accounts with guidance from senior team members. Requires an undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or other numerate fields; strong Excel (basic VBA a plus); fluency in English and Chinese; and a client-focused, detail-oriented mindset. Mercer emphasizes hybrid work with at least three days in the office and collaboration with talented colleagues to deliver impactful solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate in Economics, Finance/ Actuarial Science, Mathematics and any other numerate degrees
- Strong Excel skills
- Basic VBA will be a plus
- Fluency in English and Chinese
- Ability to draft correspondence and prepare agendas/minutes for trustees’ meetings
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
