Job Summary
Provide technical assistance to patients and staff under the direction of a Licensed Mississippi Respiratory Care Practitioner. Set up low-flow oxygen monitoring, perform non-exotic aerosol therapy, conduct hyperinflation and airway clearance, and perform electrocardiograms. Assist in cardiorespiratory arrests after obtaining Basic Life Support certification. Evaluate and contribute to the development of patient care plans while participating in activities to improve health care delivery. Complete assigned goals and engage in ongoing educational activities to build clinical leadership knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Currently Enrolled as a second year Respiratory Care Practitioner student in an accredited AS degree Respiratory Care Program or Senior Year RCP Candidate in an accredited BS degree program within 1 year of graduations
- Meets or exceeds all academic requirements
- Computer literacy
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
