Job Summary
Research, design, and implement novel LLM-based agent architectures for planning, reasoning, and decision-making. Explore agent memory, reflection, self-evaluation, and feedback loops to enable continual learning. Survey recent developments in the field and proactively communicate with team members. Perform experiments to evaluate, analyze, and drive insights from results. This internship is open to current PhD or Master's students with hands-on experience building agent systems, familiarity with reinforcement learning and tool calling, and strong Python/PyTorch skills. Proficiency in English is essential for communicating with colleagues outside Quebec, while the work environment supports a French-speaking context. The Noah's Ark lab focuses on advancing AI research to integrate innovations into products like LLMs and autonomous driving.
Required Qualifications
- Currently a PhD or Master's student in computer science or related fields
- Hands-on project experiences on building agent systems for planning and reasoning
- Familiar with reinforcement learning (RL), ReAct (Reasoning and Acting), and Chain-of-Thought (CoT), tool calling
- Strong AI/ML coding skills in Python
