Job Summary
Assist in the formulation and development of various chemical products for Home Cleaning & Pest Control lines. Conduct experiments to optimize formulations based on performance criteria and customer requirements. Prepare and document laboratory reports, including methods, results, and observations. Perform stability testing and evaluate physical and chemical properties of formulations. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory workspace adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with RD&E core teams across multiple product types. This 6-month internship offers hands-on experience in laboratory practices and data analysis within SC Johnson's global family-owned company.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science Technology or a related field
- Fluent in English
- Strong understanding of fundamental chemistry concepts and laboratory techniques
- 6 months
- 0-5% travel
- Ability to lift laboratory equipment/materials
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with formulation chemistry is a plus but not required
