Job Summary
As a Product Intern at Lokal, you will work closely with product, engineering, and design to help build and improve user-centric features across Lokal’s apps. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the end-to-end product lifecycle—from defining requirements and analyzing user behavior to supporting feature launches and post-release insights. You will contribute to product documentation, track experiments, and use data to inform decisions while developing strong product thinking and execution skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear requirements
- High ownership mindset and willingness to get hands-on
- Basic understanding of product analytics (funnels, retention, conversion)
- Ability to write clear user stories and PRDs
- Understanding of APIs, events, and basic backend/frontend concepts
- Comfort working with data (SQL / Excel / Sheets)
- Exposure to A/B testing, metrics tracking, and dashboards is a bonus
