Job Summary
LDF is seeking policy interns for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2026 to support the policy team in areas such as criminal justice, economic justice, education equity, and political participation. Interns will conduct legal, legislative, and policy research, track legislative hearings, write memos and letters, and assist with coalition meetings. Ideal candidates should be law school or graduate students with a commitment to racial justice and strong research and writing skills. Full-time summer internships span 10+ weeks, while Spring and Fall internships require 15+ hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be law school or graduate students
- Students must receive either scholarships or institutional funding, course credit, or fulfill pro-bono hours requirements
