Intern Pharmacist

Review physician prescriptions for accuracy, determine formulas and ingredients, and compound medications using standard processes. Monitor client profiles to ensure accuracy, check for drug interactions and duplicate therapy, and direct pharmacy personnel engaged in admixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. Provide drug information to physicians and clients regarding appropriate use, side effects, and dosage, while entering data into the CPR+ system for client profiles and charges. Perform pharmaceutical care for all age groups, adhere to medication rights, and maintain equipment and controlled substance security. Work remotely is not an option; this role requires a reliable commute to Irvine, CA.
