Job Summary
Laborant internship across AMD and LSD teams at AGC Biologics in Søborg (Copenhagen area), starting 1 September 2026 for 1 year. Responsibilities include developing HPLC analyses (affinity, size-exclusion, and/or ion-exchange chromatography) with emphasis on high-throughput technology; developing capillary electrophoresis methods; independent data processing and delivering results to chemists/scientists; practical experience with Thermo Fisher HPLC equipment and Chromeleon software. In the AMD, Bioassay, and LSD streams, tasks involve a range of analytical techniques such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, SoloVPE (OD), qPCR, and cell-based assays; working with high-throughput instruments (e.g., ELISA automation using a dilution robot or high-throughput analysis with Octet HTX). The internship includes mentorship, hands-on training, and exposure to method development for various biologics. Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of the Danish laboratory technician education, possess strong English skills, be adaptable, systematic, and detail-oriented, and will be evaluated via internal application processes.
Required Qualifications
- Theoretical portion of Danish laboratory technician education completed or expected to be completed before internship start.
- Good English skills, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, growing company.
- Ability to independently process data and deliver results to chemist/scientist.
- Interest/experience with HPLC equipment and Chromeleon software (Thermo Fisher).
- Experience with ELISA, SDS-PAGE, qPCR, and cell-based assays for LSD/Bioassay teams (preferred).
- Ability to work with high-throughput instruments and automation for ELISA.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach.
