Job Summary
Intern, Operational Excellence will work with the team to review and maintain Operational Brand Standards & guidelines for properties managed by The Ascott Limited, collaborate with corporate teams to integrate brand standards, assist with annual Service and Product Reviews (SPRs) including data collation and analysis, help setup and roll out hotel-operations systems (audit software, project management software), and identify ways to improve operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in business operations. The role requires pursuing a diploma in related disciplines, effective communication, basic hospitality/operations understanding, familiarity with Property Management Systems is a plus, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The candidate will support the team on special projects and contribute to documentation and process mapping.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Studies/Business Management/Hospitality/Tourism Management or related disciplines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of Hotel or Service Residence operations
- Exposure to Property Management Systems a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
- Experience with data collation/analysis (preferred)
