Job Summary
Intern-Nurse II: Surgical Oncology provides technical assistance under the direction of the registered nurse for a defined group of patients to achieve quality outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing patients, contributing to and implementing a plan of care, evaluating outcomes, providing patient care and nursing staff support, participating in activities to improve healthcare delivery, building knowledge in clinical leadership, and engaging in ongoing educational activities. Requires graduation from a registered nursing program awaiting licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; computer literacy is required.
