Job Summary
Assess patients and contribute to care plan development under the direction of a registered nurse. Implement and evaluate the care plan while providing patient care and assistance to nursing staff as directed. Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery and build knowledge regarding clinical leadership. Complete assigned goals and engage in ongoing educational activities. Maintain computer literacy and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. This internship is for registered nursing program graduates awaiting licensure, with a maximum duration of 90 days from graduation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nursing program
- Awaiting licensure
- Time period for the graduate nurse to remain in the Nurse Intern II job category is not longer than 90 days from date of graduation
- Computer literacy
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
