Job Summary
Assess patients, contribute to care plan development, implement and evaluate care plans, and provide patient care assistance under the direction of a registered nurse. Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery, build clinical leadership knowledge, and complete ongoing educational activities. Maintain computer literacy and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. This role supports registered nurses in achieving quality patient outcomes for a defined group of patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nursing program
- Awaiting licensure
- Time period for the graduate nurse to remain in the Nurse Intern II job category is not longer than 90 days from date of graduation
- Computer literacy
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
