Job Summary
Assess patients, contribute to and implement plans of care, and evaluate care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provide patient care and assistance to nursing staff, communicate with staff, patients, and guests, and participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery. Build knowledge base regarding clinical leadership and complete assigned goals while engaging in ongoing educational activities. Requires graduation from a registered nursing program awaiting licensure, with a maximum tenure of 90 days post-graduation. Includes BLS certification within 14 days of hire and computer literacy.

- Graduate of a registered nursing program
- Awaiting licensure
- Time period for the graduate nurse to remain in the Nurse Intern II job category is not longer than 90 days from date of graduation
- Computer literacy
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
