Job Summary
Intern-Nurse II provides technical assistance under the direction of a registered nurse for a defined group of patients on the 3 West Medical-Surgical unit to help achieve quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing patients, contributing to and implementing plans of care under RN direction, evaluating outcomes, and supporting nursing staff and patients. The role also involves participating in activities to improve health care delivery, building knowledge in clinical leadership, engaging in ongoing educational activities, and completing assigned goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
- Computer literacy
