Job Summary
Intern – NCDIT DEQ – Operations Management internship supporting DEQ TLS certificate lifecycle management. Responsibilities include inventorying existing certificates, researching and recommending tools for automated certificate management, and implementing process improvements to strengthen security and reliability. Internship offers two programs, $20/hour, 20–40 hours/week, with onsite or hybrid options, and a preference for candidates residing in North Carolina or within a three-hour commute of the duty station. Program runs Fall/Winter 2026 from Sept 28, 2026 to Mar 26, 2027. Eligible applicants will be students in IT-related degree programs; related state internships may substitute education or experience per equivalency guidelines.
