Job Summary
Support continuous improvement activities through time studies, data analysis, and Lean projects. Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and computer-based activities, and assist with project documentation. Run tests and validate checks on data, equipment, or software. Requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, knowledge of manufacturing processes, schematics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD preferred. Suitable for students in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other related major
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Analytical thinker
- Knowledge of metal working and manufacturing process
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and related test procedures
- May require lifting to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD
- Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma
