Job Summary
Intern in Manufacturing Wet processes at Micron Technology focused on a structured learning project analyzing tool performance and process stability in a semiconductor fab. Responsibilities emphasize studying semiconductor process flow across modules (Wet, Etch, Diffusion, CMP, Lithography), analyzing historical datasets related to tool performance, applying basic analytical methods to identify patterns or learning observations, reviewing work instructions, and communicating findings. Mentoring provided by engineers; project outputs include a final report and a presentation outlining methods and key learnings. Emphasis on developing foundational understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, manufacturing controls, problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, 5-Why, basic SPC), documentation standards, and professional communication. Minimum 6-month duration, coursework in Manufacturing Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
