Intern, Merchandise and Operations - New Mexico Goatheads

Job Summary
Assist with merchandise inventory counts, organization, and stock replenishment while preparing, packing, and fulfilling online orders. Receive and process incoming shipments, support team store setup and breakdown during home games, and organize storage areas and displays. Prepare promotional items and signage for game day operations, maintain a clean retail environment, and help organize operational workspaces. Support community events and promotional appearances as assigned, while collaborating with Marketing, Ticket Sales, and Operations departments. This 2026–27 ECHL season internship offers approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field
- Available to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, holidays, home games, and select events
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while contributing in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds

- Previous retail, customer service, warehouse, or operations experience
