Job Summary
Intern, Medical Affairs role within Edwards Lifesciences' Medical Affairs function. Involves contributing to clinical evidence generation, manuscript/abstract drafting, data interpretation, coordinating Round Table Discussions/Advisory Board meetings, supporting scientific exchanges with key opinion leaders, summarizing presentations from medical congresses, and participating in product material reviews with new Veeva system. The position offers exposure to cross-functional teams, exposure to fast-paced environments, and opportunities to accelerate career growth in life sciences. The role supports one or two studies/projects in THV and/or TMTT, working with internal colleagues and external investigators to design studies, refine plans, provide scientific comments, and drive milestones.”,
Required Qualifications
- Completed 4-years college / university program in Bachelor of Science (BS)
- Participating graduate degree program (Master or Ph.D.) or above
- Basic scientific knowledge in biology, chemistry, engineering and statistics
- Good scientific writing skills for consolidating and drafting reports and actions
- Leadership behaviour, thinking and skills with a self-starter and collaborative mindset to achieve results / milestones
- Coordination and project management skills with different people and functions from various expertise
