Intern, Map Analyst

Intern Map Analyst to improve the map and enhance it with up-to-date data generated by manual editing and automatic detections. You will be onsite at our Cluj Office reporting to the Senior Map Manager based in Cluj-Napoca. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality maps using best practices, analyzing map completeness, maintaining technical documentation, establishing clear requirements to improve ML model quality, and identifying methods to increase map coverage through automatic processes. Required skills include basic cartographic principles and experience with GIS tools (QGIS, GDAL/OGR); you are pursuing a BS or MS in Geodesy/Cartography/Geomatics, and you must be fluent in English. The internship runs for 3 months, 8 hours per day, starting July/August, and is onsite at the Cluj Napoca office.
