Job Summary
Assist an experienced designer in developing practical design solutions from concept through detail design to manufacturing drawings and prototyping. Participate in design reviews with all stakeholders, prepare bill of materials for the procurement process, and create technical documentation on existing and new designs. Support actual hands-on tasks such as assembly and testing while utilizing CAD software and Siemens NX for modeling and drafting. Internship duration is at least 5–6 months with flexible working hours, requiring a Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and strong English communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Available for an internship duration of at least 5–6 months
- Skilled with CAD software
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (all daily activities are conducted in English)
- Self-motivated, resilient, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens NX (Modeling, Drafting, Sheet Metal) highly recommended
- Experience with Teamcenter is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ideally in an aerospace context
- Hands-on experience with tools and equipment in a lab or manufacturing setting
- Being part of a rocketry student team, Formula Student or similar is a strong plus
