Job Summary
Monitor and respond to technical security issues, analyze threats and vulnerabilities, and support remediation by implementing controls and upgrades. Safeguard system assets by investigating anomalies, managing access privileges, and integrating cloud applications with enterprise security solutions. Prepare security dashboards, scorecards, and executive summaries to visualize metrics and track remediation progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain documentation, conduct audits, and stay current with emerging threats. This internship supports WRI's security operations, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across its global research organization.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation in related field (BE, B-tech, and BCA)
- Able to work with Zero Trust principles and security architecture
- Good knowledge of SIEM/SOAR, XDR, and Security Playbooks
- Understanding of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) concepts and best practices
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Entra ID Protection (Azure AD Identity Protection)
- Understand the principles of data discovery, data protection, data classification, and data governance
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements
- Good hands-on knowledge creating presentations and visual way of presenting as part of security reporting
- 3 months duration (Internship)
