Job Summary
Intern, Investment Consulting (6 Months) in Mercer’s Wealth team based in Hong Kong. Assist in setting client portfolio strategies (asset allocation, investment manager selection, risk analysis) using Mercer analytics tools and third-party research; support portfolio management and monitoring (fund performance, attribution analysis) and maintain in-house databases; assist in actuarial valuations and pension scheme design, including experience analysis for assumption setting; support probabilistic cash flow modelling for pension schemes; research complex investment ideas and market trends; prepare ad-hoc marketing materials to support business development; provide updates on capital markets and pension landscape; participate in resolving client queries and support senior colleagues on project delivery; collaborate across Mercer offices and teams; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Terminal; VBA, Python, R a plus; fluency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin a plus; hybrid work with in-office collaboration at least three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate with solid academic track record; preferably in numerate degrees such as Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering and Mathematics
