Job Summary
Intern, Internal Audit, Financial Risk Management role offering hands-on experience in internal audit mandates related to financial market activities, trading, ALM and treasury. The role involves assisting auditors, analyzing processes, identifying best practices and areas for improvement, and developing a 360° view of the organization’s internal audit practice within financial risk management. The internship targets candidates pursuing finance/economics/mathematics degrees, pursuing CFA designation, and who are fluent in French, with an emphasis on analytical, risk-based and advisory support to Desjardins managers to promote proactive risk management and stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics or mathematics
- Working towards CFA designation
- Knowledge of French required
