Job Summary
Intern Information Security & Data Protection supports the information security and data protection program within Rothschild & Co's Wealth Management division. Responsibilities include information security assessments and controls, third-party security risk assessments, maintenance of the data protection framework, KPI/KRI reporting and security metrics dashboards for management, security awareness activities, and coordinating training. The role involves collaboration with the InfoSec Officer and the Data Protection & InfoSec Specialist, operating in a regulated banking environment, and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, up to 2 years of professional experience or internships, familiarity with ISO 27001/NIST and GDPR/FADP, interest in regulatory topics (FINMA, DORA), and strong organizational and communication skills; fluency in English and proficiency in German are required, with additional European languages welcomed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- Up to 2 years of professional experience in information security, data protection, or related areas; relevant internships are equally valued
- Basic understanding of information security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST) and/or data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, Swiss FADP)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in German; Italian and/or French are a plus
