Job Summary
Internship at HARMAN Automotive: contribute to Linux kernel driver design and optimization for embedded platforms; assist in device driver creation and integration with hardware peripherals; participate in kernel-level debugging, performance tuning, and cross-functional collaboration with software/hardware/QA teams; produce clear documentation for developed code. Pursuing or completed degree in CS/EE or related field and hands-on coding/debugging experience are required, with familiarity in C/C++ and Linux kernel concepts. Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field (internship requirement)
- Hands-on experience in code development, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages
- Understanding of Linux kernel architecture and development
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded systems architecture
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Understanding with embedded systems and real-time operating systems is a plus
