Job Summary
Support the Strategic Talent team in delivering HR programs aligned with business objectives. Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, compensation guidance, and employee engagement initiatives. Analyze HR data to prepare reports and insights for strategic decision-making while partnering with stakeholders on change management activities. Contribute to learning and recognition programs, review HR processes and policies, and conduct research on talent trends. Collaborate on special projects to strengthen organizational performance. This Fall co-op placement requires enrollment in a recognized program with a return to full-time studies upon completion.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Commerce, or a related field
- Must be enrolled in a recognized co-op program and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced professional environment
