Job Summary
Work in ArcGIS Pro to generate maps per project assignments and department management requests. Perform research, synthesize data, and create charts, tables, graphs, and reports to present to Senior Planner and department management. Attend administrative and committee meetings while updating the Comprehensive Plan as assigned. Complete basic office functions including data entry and file management, and collaborate with City employees, government agencies, and private entities. This seasonal, non-exempt internship provides students in geography or planning with hands-on experience in land use and policy planning.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a university curriculum for geography, community and regional planning, public administration, or similar field.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro.
