Job Summary
Attend administrative and committee meetings, including the Planning Board, Historic Resources Board, and Board of Zoning Appeals. Transcribe meeting minutes from video recordings and perform research to synthesize data for reports, memos, and charts presented to management. Update the Comprehensive Plan and execute basic office functions such as data entry and file management. Work cooperatively with city employees, government agencies, and private entities while applying principles of municipal and regional planning. This seasonal, non-exempt position requires enrollment in a university curriculum for community and regional planning, public administration, geography, or a similar field.
