Job Summary

Support staff members in servicing high net worth and ultra high net worth clients through holistic financial planning and client relationship support. Prepare and process necessary paperwork for client onboarding, assist in scheduling meetings, and develop clear materials to explain financial concepts. Observe client meetings to gain firsthand experience in building relationships and solve client challenges. Participate in follow-up tasks including documentation, research, and solution development. Use financial planning and CRM software to assist with plan development, data management, and model compilation. Contribute ideas during team discussions on improving client service and business development opportunities. Collaborate with team members on special projects and client service initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date within 12 months of the start of the internship
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities
  • Must be able to sit, stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a pc, communicate, listen, and assess information
  • Must be able to move about the office complex
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull or move 10 - 15 pounds
  • Must have distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus

Desired Qualifications

  • Major in wealth management, financial planning, finance, or a related field
  • Interest in pursuing a client-facing advisory career, with a focus on business development and relationship management
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable contributing ideas in group settings
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a simple, relatable way
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about financial markets, planning strategies, and client motivations and decision-making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Willingness to learn financial planning tools and CRM systems
