Job Summary
Prepare client onboarding paperwork and process necessary documentation. Assist in scheduling meetings, develop materials explaining financial concepts, and support advisors through client onboarding and plan creation. Observe client meetings to gain firsthand experience in relationship building, then participate in follow-up tasks including documentation, research, and solution development. Contribute ideas during team discussions on improving client service and business development opportunities. Support account maintenance, money movement processes, and data entry using financial planning and CRM software to assist with plan development and deliverables. This internship offers foundational advisory and consultative skills within the Wealth team at Mariner Wealth Advisors, focusing on high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date within 12 months of the start of the internship
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities

- Major in wealth management, financial planning, finance, or a related field
- Interest in pursuing a client-facing advisory career, with a focus on business development and relationship management
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
