Job Summary
Develop tooling and manufacturing concepts for parts, including time standards, drawings, and process specifications. Support production programs through planning, CAD/CAM definition, and research while interpreting customer requirements and specifications. Engage in product and tool design, strength analysis, and statistical process contract design to optimize productivity and budgeting. Collaborate across management, quality, manufacturing, and sales to resolve conflicts and develop work instructions. Work primarily in an office environment with occasional time in the manufacturing area, utilizing Microsoft Word, AutoCad, and manufacturing information systems. Enrolled in an accredited engineering program with no prior work experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of personnel at the division including management, quality, manufacturing, sales, and other engineers
- Possess the ability to work through conflict issues in a timely and effective manner
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to prioritize assigned tasks and manage individual work time amidst required meetings to obtain maximum efficiency and productivity
- Enrolled in an Engineering program through an accredited university
