Intern Editorial Administrator

Job Summary
Enter and maintain author, editor, and project data in the CRM system while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Prepare Copyright Transfer Agreements for book chapters and manage their electronic distribution and follow-up. Coordinate the shipment of complimentary copies upon publication and provide general administrative support to the editorial team. Communicate with authors and editors in German and English. This fixed-term 12-month role involves 8.75 hours weekly in the Weinheim office, with hybrid work possible after training. You will receive on-the-job training from senior editorial assistants and report into the Associate Publisher.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at a university
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident use of standard PC applications and willing to quickly learn new IT systems
- Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly manner
- Customer-oriented mindset and enjoyment of organizational and administrative tasks
- Organized and reliable working style
