Job Summary
Join the Early Learning Program at Metropolitan Family Services as a part-time intern to assist in ECE program intake, observe classroom activities, and complete student teaching or capstone projects. Interns will learn to gather information, assist individuals in crisis, and work with diverse staff and clients. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s program and possess a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s level program in ECE, Social Work, or related field
- Must have access to a vehicle, proof of insurance and valid driver’s license
- Currently enrolled in a psychology, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development field program
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to render adequate service to clients
- Organizational and management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of Head Start
- Knowledge in data entry and technology
Additional Requirements
- Internship is unpaid
- Internships are for current college students needing hours to complete a course or graduation requirements
